Oath hires new CFO

Oath — which is short for the parent of the internet’s weirdest version of a content Brady Bunch (AOL, HuffPost and Yahoo living together in one big family) — has hired Vanessa Wittman as its new CFO, the company said.

The well-regarded Wittman has worked in some high-profile jobs before — at Dropbox, Motorola and Marsh & McLennan. She will lead global financial strategy and operations for Oath CEO Tim Armstrong.

Wittman is replacing Holly Hess, who is moving to Oath parent Verizon to work on a major cost-savings effort at the telecom giant.

He’ll testify before two Senate committees on Tuesday, and a House committee on Wednesday.
