20 Easter Tech Sales (2018): Nintendo, Apple, Dyson, Lenovo

Easter weekend is a holiday filled with church activities, egg painting, and a lot of bunnies and candy. It’s also a great time to pick up a few tech and gaming items for the spring. Several sales and deals are happening this weekend. We’ve picked out 20 of our favorites, with a little help from our friends at TechBargains.

The Moto G5 Plus is our WIRED pick for best phone under $300, and it’s a little cheaper than usual right now.

GoPro recently launched a new action cam, and now the Hero5 Session is $100 cheaper, but unlike the new cam it can output 4K video.

Buy the GoPro Hero5 Session Action Cam for $199 – $100 off.

With 4K HDR, LG’s decent WebOS interface, and a solid 55-inch screen, this is a great 4K TV for under $500. It’s worth noting this is a 2018 model, not last year’s TV.

Buy the LG 55-Inch LED 4K TV for $499 – $97 off

It’s not quite as nice as the new Sonos One (our favorite smart speaker), but the Play:1 is still kickass, does multiroom sound better than almost anything, and likely supports every audio app you use. If you can afford it, we recommend buying two.

Buy the Sonos Play:1 Speaker for $149 – $50 off

This Vizio is slightly smaller than the LG above, but still gets the job done as a great starter 4K TV, though it does not have HDR support, which adds greater contrast and color on some content.

Buy the Vizio 50-Inch D Series LED 4K TV for $328 – $170 off:

Use the code QRRJ4Z5P at checkout for this huge discount. If indoor antennas aren’t working for your house, this ViewTV rotating antenna should pick up a signal even far away.

Buy the ViewTV Outdoor 150-Mile HDTV Antenna for $23 – $67 off

The original Apple Watch still works just fine (and looks identical to newer models). The only thing you’re missing is waterproofing. This deal makes it more affordable to try Apple’s wearable.

Buy the Apple Watch Series 1 for $179 – $70 off

Dyson DC33 Multifloor Bagless Upright Vacuum – $80 off ($199): Dyson is still the crème de la crème of vacuum brands and this bagless upright works on all floor types, has HEPA filtration for allergens, and a 2-year warranty.

Dyson V8 Cordless Vacuum – $100 off ($499): We all have ways of dealing with that pesky vacuum cord, but this Dyson lets you leave that behind, with 40 minutes of battery-powered suction, HEPA filtration, and the ability to work on multiple surfaces. Amazon has a good deal on it, as well.

Shark Ion Rocket Cordless Vacuum – $40 off ($199): Shark has gotten a lot of attention as a Dyson alternative. This model is similar to the V8 but doesn’t get quite as good battery life from what we’ve read, though you can buy an extra battery to swap, if you have a big home.

Dell Laptops and Desktops – 15% off: Alienware has some great deals on laptops and desktops this weekend. See the link for coupon codes. XPS and Inspiron systems are on sale.

Dell Inspiron 17 with Core i7 and Radeon GPU – $150 off ($650): This particular laptop looks nice, with a 7th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB RAM, Windows 10 Home, a 17-inch 1080p screen, 1TB hard drive, and 4GB AMD Radeon R7 M445.

Lenovo’s Easter Laptop Sale – Up to 40% off: Lenovo has a bunch of laptops on deep discount through April 5. Use the coupon code DEALS.

Lenovo 15-Inch ThinkPad with Radeon – $420 off ($979): This Lenovo has a decent AMD A10-9600P processor, Windows 10 Home, a 1080p 15.6-inch anti-glare screen, 256GB SSD, 8GB RAM, and a 2GB AMD Radeon R5 M430 graphics card.

Nintendo Switch Pro Controller – $11 off ($59): Every Switch owner that uses a TV to play should own Nintendo’s Pro Controller, but it’s too expensive! This discount isn’t huge, but it’s the best we’ve seen.

Nintendo Switch Official AC Adapter – $5 off ($25): If your roommate’s rabbit ate your AC adapter (it can happen), they’re slightly on sale right now.

Oculus Rift VR Headset with Extras and 6 Games – $100+ off ($399): This Rift comes with Touch Controllers, 6 Games, and a $50 Oculus Store Credit, which will buy you another game of your choice

Microsoft Xbox One X 1TB + PUBG + $100 Gift Card – $500: This bundle is priced the same as a standard Xbox One X, but includes PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and a $100 Dell Gift Card, which you’ll figure out a way to spend, I’m sure. Check our Best Xbox One X Bundle Deals for more bundles.

PlayStation VR Bundle + $50 Dell Gift Card – $100 off ($299): Don’t be fooled. Sony sells a cheaper version of its PSVR, but it doesn’t include the needed camera. Use the $50 gift card on whatever, and try out the included VR version of Doom.

Translucent Red PS4 Controller – $20 off ($40): PS4’s DualShock 4 controllers die often enough you should own at least a couple. This clear-ish red version is just fun.
